Wesley Berg

Wesley Berg (b. 1980 USA) is a visual and sound artist, merging personal experiences in nature with complex societal relationships to modernity. Berg received his MFA from the University of Florida (2007) and a BFA from Miami University of Ohio. Berg spent three years working in New York City before beginning a series of artist residencies, including the Vermont Studio Center, the Santa Fe Art Institute, the Baer Art Center (Iceland), the Nelimarkka Museo (Finland), and the ARNA Music Lab (Sweden). Berg currently maintains two bodies of work visual and sound. His visual project includes small and large scale drawings referencing our human presence in the natural world. Berg’s sound project, Glacier Face,is an ongoing exploration of music inspired by his residency stay in Iceland. Berg currently teaches drawing at the University of Dayton.
