Teri Schoch's assemblage mail art was received  on 12/24/2015.  It is made in a monochromatic palette of browns in the material of: cardboard, twine, metal, wire and paint.  Dabs of saturated red paint hides beneath the USPS shipping labels.  Teri Schoch was instructed to wrap the piece in plastic to protect the postal workers from the piece.  Small metal shaped plates  visually breaks the rectangular edges at the top of the piece while the twine wrapped cardboard grants a sense of physical containment and tension.

X-Ray....    Artist: Amy Deal

Kelsey Projects received its first mail art submission yesterday from artist Amy Deal.  This beauty caused quite the concern at the local post-office.  The odd shape and rattling sound when its moved around was so disconcerting that they had it X-Rayed and only when it was deemed safe was it allowed to  continue on it's journey.  The sculpture resembles a blown up lego, ironically the only damage legos inherently have are under our feet.
