Damon McArthur is a Professor at Western Illinois University and an internationally exhibited artist, illustrator, and cartoonist. Except for a couple breaks to do much less interesting things, he has been painting and drawing continuously since he was a child. His drawings and paintings have been exhibited in places like New York, Chicago, and his mother's refrigerator.
His cartoons have appeared in Elements, The Harvard Business Review, Barron’s, The Oldie (U.K.), and Private Eye (U.K.). He has done illustration work for Criquet shirts in Austin, Texas, and for his seven-year-old daughter’s short stories.
